Caring and Sharing of South Santa Rosa County would like to thank Gulf Breeze High School and Navarre High School for their generous participation in the Fifth Annual Caring and Sharing Beach Soup Bowl Cup food collection challenge. Both schools are to be commended for their dedication to serving their community!
Thank you to both schools for an amazing participation. This year Gulf Breeze H.S. collected 1,534 items for the food drive and Navarre H.S. collected 9,447 food items. Congratulations were announced at the game held Friday night during half time. The trophy was awarded by Ann Thompson, President Caring and Sharing to Principal Noack and Navarre H.S. for collecting the most non-perishable food items. “Like football, fair and positive competition keeps individuals sharp and at the top of their game,” stated Ann Thompson, President Caring & Sharing. “This year’s congratulations go out to the Navarre H.S. Raiders for supporting its community members in their time of need.” All donations will be placed in food boxes organized and distributed to Caring and Sharing clients during Thanksgiving Distribution to be held November 20-22, 2015. “I love watching our students take pride and understanding the value of giving back to their community and to those that are less fortunate” remarked Principal Noack, “I appreciate the opportunity and the friendly competition that goes along as well, we look forward to next year.”
