It is an understatement to say the last few years were unusual! Because of the COVID-19 pandemic and hurricanes, our community was hit hard. Many are still struggling. Individuals, churches, businesses, and organizations have stepped up and provided food and financial assistance to those in our neighborhoods who are in need.
Volunteering is essential to the mission of Caring and Sharing. We are a 100% volunteer organization. We appreciate the many families who have made volunteering with Caring and Sharing a part of their holiday tradition. We will post updates on volunteer opportunities as dates are finalized.
Distributions for both Thanksgiving and Christmas will be held at Holley-Navarre Intermediate School. Thanksgiving volunteer times are November 17th from 4 pm to 6 pm and November 18th from 10 am to 3 pm. Christmas volunteer times are December 15th from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm and December 16th from 10 am to 3 pm.
There are other ways to help:
- You may go to our Donations page and use the PayPal feature to donate. If you would rather send a check, the address is Caring and Sharing of South Santa Rosa County, Inc., P.O. Box 5521, Navarre Fl 32566.
- Be on the lookout for our food and toy drives through the schools, businesses, churches, and civic organizations. Collection box locations will be announced when available.
- You can donate new/good used clothing and household items to Interfaith Ministries at 4339 Gulf Breeze Parkway. Caring and Sharing will provide vouchers to each client family to obtain items from the Interfaith Ministries’ thrift store.

Caring and Sharing planning meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the St Sylvester Catholic Church located off Highway 98 at 6464 Gulf Breeze Pkwy.
